S&P Case Shiller Index
San Diego Home prices inch UP .2% (that’s point .2%) month-over-month and down 3.9% year-over-year, both stats an improvement from last month’s data.
According to the S&P Case Shiller Composite Index for San Diego, home prices are begining to stabilize based on data from February 2012 (yes those are the latest numbers). The report is released on the last Tuesday of every month and has a 2 month lag. Therefore, the most recent stats reflect February 2012 with March’s numbers coming out at the end of May.

S&P Case Shiller Index
Released 1/31/12
San Diego Home prices continue to inch down .9% (that’s point .9%) month-over-month and remain down at 5.4% year-over-year (same as the previous month’s report).
According to data from the S&P Case Shiller Composite Index for San Diego, home prices have stopped free-falling and are trying to find a bottom. November’s data (there is a 2 month lag) is a traditionally slow month due to the holidays. The report is released the last Tuesday of every month. Therefore, this report reflects November 2011 with December’s numbers coming out on the last Tuesday of February 2012.
